Investigation of structural and magneto-transport properties of PdTe2 single crystals

The growth and structural analysis of topological semimetal (TSM) PdTe2 were carried out in this study. self-flux method was employed to grow the single crystals which structurally characterized by XRD, SEM EDAX, while vibrational modes observed Raman spectroscopy. Further, transport properties grown crystal are also investigated, show presence weak anti-localization effect. low-field (≈1 Tesla) magnetoconductivity is studied Hikami–Larkin–Nagaoka (HLN) model, physical parameters extracted. a quadratic term linear applied field added HLN accounted for quantum classical contributions conduction mechanism. modified model used study magneto-conductivity entire range at temperature from 2 100 K. This not only confirmed PdTe2, but verified surface states (TSS) through magneto-transport measurements.
